Out running errands on a busy day and don’t want to think too much about your outfit without looking like a mess?- This is my staple.

A good & comfy pair of denims, a v-neck pullover that (depending on weather) isn’t too thick or thin and comfortable flats (opt for one with more character to create a little allure)
Accessorize as you please but for those of you who know me, i’m never one who is into over-accessorizing. So add on the candy to your specific liking. Afterall, with basics, accessorizing is your ticket to taking an outfit from boring to chic.
sidenote: with reference to the v-neck pullover. Always remember for the bustier few of you, avoid round neck pullovers. You don’t want to make your top look heavier than it is! V-necks do the trick & are way sexier ;)
Hope the week’s treating you right! Love always

The palazzo pants. One of the many gifts to women. It’s such a flattering piece of clothing that if worn right will rock what yo mama gave ya.
For me, there are really just two main things to look out for when choosing a palazzo to best suit you,
1. Colour
If you’re crazy about single colours, you need to work with your body. If you’re heavier on the bottom you definitely would like to avoid bright colours and stick to darker tones - flatter your curves, don’t overdo it. Also, if you’re lighter on the bottom, go brighter! bright & bold would do the trick although…
2. Prints
For the lot of you who have a smaller bottom, prints always help to make up for volume that colours can’t achieve. Choose bigger prints or heavy patterns to give more to the eye! Prints are tricky for the curvier ladies. You want to rock prints but not overdo the look, so stick to small or sparse prints!
And the key thing about the palazzo is to always get one that fits your waist or hips perfectly! Don’t forget to keep your tops simple if wearing a printed palazzo & go crazy if you wanna (but in the same colour scheme as your pants) if your palazzo is plain.
Hope your week is treating you well, stay healthy & safe!

After a long hiatus, i’m back and definitely looking at bigger things for this blog.
But first - Today’s outfit

This outfit is a great choice for the few of you who, like me, are obsessed with our monochromatic pieces. Outfits like the one i’m wearing can sometimes come across as heavy, so finding ways to lighten the look are key.
Maxi skirts are a great wardrobe essential for every girl, but it’s always ideal to have one that’s a little sheer. Showing leg while still covering you up - Believe me, that element of mystery is way sexier.
Cropped tops are an ongoing trend, so whether its long/short/no sleeved, it would pair great with a maxi skirt. Just be sure, no matter what your body type to 1. stick to the colour scheme of your outfit and 2. choose one that hugs your body.
Note: Loose cropped tops would only flatter your body if your maxi skirt is figure hugging/bodycon. So bear that in mind ladies!
Now to top off a full body outfit, you want a pair of heels that scream out what you’re trying to pull off. I chose a pair of banana heeled boots that created a fiercer finish to my look. Easily, I could switch them for a pair of strappy heels or point-toe heels to tone it down to further feminize the overall look.
Best part about monochromatic outfits? Pair it with any coloured statement necklace/pair of earrings you want and it’s still gonna look great! Have an amazing day & i’ll be posting again very soon.
It’s great to be back,
